"Hospitality Award--2013"
The Holdsworth House is one of the oldest homes in the town of Digby, Nova Scotia.  Built around 1783(84) by James Addington Holdsworth, an Empire Loyalist from the New York area.
We purchased the home in 1998 from the Holdsworth Family.
Join us in celebrating the Holdsworth House's 230th Birthday!  Stay two nights in the James Addington Room for the discounted rate of $230/couple($20 saving).

Upon your arrival at the Holdsworth House, you will be given a tour of the home, with an explaination of the restoration and renovations that have taken place.  The Holdsworth House offers itself as a true Bed and Breakfast.  This is our home, and we are very pleased and honoured to have you as a guest and to share this unique one of a kind home with you.
All our guest rooms have private ensuite baths, and high speed internet.  Your nightly rate includes a full breakfast and taxes.  For people with special diets, or those that will be leaving on the early ferry, we will cater to your needs.
There are two parlours, with books and games for your use while visiting with us.  One is for the Ladies, and the other, for the Gentlemen.  It is certainly up to you, if you want to enforce the parlour titles, it is more fun to share.
If you have any questions regarding the Holdsworth House, please do not hesitate to contact us.
